All I Wanted Was You...

Plain and simple. I didn't ask for much. I just wanted you-- to love and be there for me and I could be there for you. There was no pressure on my part. Yes, I did have times when I was needy, but it was out of my control. I have grown, I have loved so very deeply, but now I am lost. Where to go from here without you, my best friend, my lover, my manfriend. Your smile makes me melt, your tears make me cry and the beat of your heart against me is so comforting and warm. And most of all your touch, your hand on my head, my face, my body, the scruff of your face against mine. The smell of your skin and your beautiful green eyes. What will I do without you in my life. Just writing these words is even too hard.

Some nights, I would wake up and look at you sleeping and you were smiling, it made me smile because I was in your arms and you looked peaceful, happy, even content.

All I wanted was you... please don't walk away because you don't know where to go. We can figure this out. Life is a puzzle and I think the two of us fit together perfectly....
